Trolling with alive bait in Salento takes place on depths that can vary from 25 meters upwards, to a pace of about one knot. Will be spun 2 rods primed with live bait (squid, cuttlefish, tombarello, horse mackerel, etc.) and sent in depth through the use of a “guardian” lead. The preys that will be undermined are of excellent size and can vary from amberjacks, toothpicks, groupers, ducts, skipjack, bluefish, snapper, tuna etc.

About the boat

The boat designed for trolling alive bait Salento is an 8 meters Sea Fox 287cc  with an 300 hp engine plus 25 hp engine auxiliary. On board there is a computer so that participants can know perfectly the amount of fuel consumed and the “live tank” to keep the bait alive. The boat is also equipped comes with Garmin 92sv and Ecomap 8410 xsv professional depth sounder to perfectly read the seabed and for the best spots. On board there are also 11 rest rod holders, 6 fishing rod holders, 2 fish tanks. In addition to an igloo to keep drinks cool, outdoor shower with hot and fresh water, t-top and awning and sockets for electric reels

– Full day (6 hours) 450 euro. From 6am to 12 am or from 10 am to 4 am with the possibility of adjusting the times according to the needs of the group.

The catch will remain the property of the participants.

The cost includes equipment, bait, expert skipper, boat, insurance.
